Lapol is by Alka Luke, a talented sire son of Lander, who unfortunately died just when he was making his mark on the dressage scene. Lapol's dam was Mistrom, by Monopol.
Lapol was bought as a yearling, with the intention of being my riding horse & breeding a few babies. I handled him, broke him in, trained & competed him until a paddock injury slowed us down.
After recuperating from an operation, it was decided to just breed & see how his injury recovered. He has been in light work off & on over the last few years & hopefully may compete again.
He was a consistant placegetter in his short dressage career before being injured. He was always noticed for his temperament, movement & presence which he passes on to his babies. He finished 6th in the 4yo YH class at Sydney CDI 2003, & also qualified for State & National Dressage Championships that year.
